February 21, 1952, was a day of both immense pride and sorrow for our entire nation—a day when our revolutionary brothers and sisters sacrificed their lives for our mother tongue. This day marks a memorable chapter in our glorious history, where martyrs laid down their lives to protect the honor and dignity of their native language. Their supreme sacrifice proves that language is the fundamental pillar of a nation's identity and spirit. This day teaches us to stand firm in support of justice and rights against all forms of oppression. We take an oath to keep the ideals of our language and freedom close to our hearts and to remain ever ready to safeguard the honor and sovereignty of our country.
Today, on February 21, Shahid Day (Martyrs' Day) and International Mother Language Day, the BNCC Air Wing of Civil Aviation School and College, Tejgaon, pays deep tribute to the memory of the language martyrs and expresses a firm commitment to dedicating ourselves to preserving the ideals of our language and independence.
Thank you.
